Industrial data scaled. Expert attention didn’t.
Rotomate was founded in 2024 in Helsinki to solve a simple problem: factories collect more machine data than engineers have time to analyze.
Before writing a single line of code, we spoke to reliability engineers, plant managers, and maintenance teams across multiple industrial plants. The pattern was always the same: the data existed, the sensors existed, but there were too few experts who could actually make sense of all that data.
That gap became Rotomate. Not another monitoring tool, but a system that turns machine signals into explained analysis and maintenance actions.
Our team combines deep mechanical engineering expertise with AI research focused on machine data and diagnostic reasoning. Several team members hold PhDs in mechanical engineering and industrial AI, alongside commercial experience scaling some of Finland's fastest-growing companies.
Ten people. One mission: making expert-level condition monitoring available everywhere.

Meet the team

"Building the future of condition monitoring takes both technology and people who understand the industry as deeply as the science. That's what we have."
